Phenomenology 104

Let me start by saying that this was THE best event to date. Dana and Chris Wingerd along with NEPI did an outstanding job with running this event. I can not say enough about them or their professionalism. Big time props to them across the board.

The Junior Ghost Hunt went extremely well. All of the attendees that attended the Jr. hunt did an amazing job and were well informed on how to conduct a proper investigation. They were coming up with ideas and techniques that rivaled some of the teams I have been out with in the past. Fear was non-existent with these young hunters. My hat goes off to you. Impressive... most impressive. Any and all findings from the investigations can be seen HERE once we go through everything.

Thursday night was a guitar jam that lasted till 5am in the main lobby. Patrick Burns and Bill Bean are a couple of great guys and guitar players. We played so many riffs and songs that night. I am looking forward to jammin' with both Patrick and Bill again in the near future. (...next time I will brush up on some more Beatles tunes)

Chris Dedman... what can I say about this dude? If you have never hung with him or met him, please do so. He is one of the nicest guys to hang and party with. We had our hotel room adjacent from his during the event and he was one of the best neighbors to have. He'd give you the shirt off his back if you asked for it.

Marley and Patrick. Love this photo...

Marley Gibson, Jennifer Hitt, Michele Nardone, Chris Fleming, Creepy Baby, Ben Hansen, Dave Shrader, Loren DePinto, Chris Mancuso, Chris Bohrman, Jeff Belanger, Robert Murch, Adventure Myths and so many more were extremely cool to hang with as well.

Looking forward to seeing everyone again real soon. After this event, our paranormal family got a hell of a lot bigger. I hate when an event comes to and end like this. You start missing all of your friends almost instantaneously. Time flies when you are having fun, this is a given. Until we meet again, may the spirits be with you!

Now, it's photo time...

Creepy Baby ATTACKS!

Rock on Patrick!

Nisha, Nini and... Jeff photo bomb!

This is Rachel. Ghost hunter to the EXTREME!

Chris, myself and Patrick. You have to love that bunny mask.

That dude with like a million Ouija Boards is right behind me... isn't he?

Dana keeping it together nicely...

This is Bruiser... the paranormal pup.

Dave and I... note the dual eyebrow lift.

Chris, Jen and I. Best... duck face... ever.

Say "Phenom 104"!

Look like it made the local news as well. My coffee can be seen at 00:53. SWEET!

My favorite haunted places...

I have had a few people ask me recently where my favorite places to investigate are. I may have discussed this in the past, not sure and I am too lazy to check.

Anyway...

I have found some very cool places to investigate that I like, some new... some old.

Eastern State Penitentiary, Pennhurst State School, Burlington County Prison, the Shanley Hotel, Fort Mifflin, Bolton Mansion, Gettysburg, PA stand out as haunted locations I like to investigate.

Some of the places I have also found to be quite interesting are a few of the residential investigations my team and I have been involved with. I obviously can't list them here, but I can say that our findings were pretty... paranormal.

How about a few haunted locations I am setting my sights on in the next few months?

Here are some places I am excited about investigating soon:

  1. Eastern State Penitentiary - Philadelphia, PA
  2. Elaine's - Cape May, NJ
  3. Waverly Hills - Louisville, KY
  4. Logan's Inn - New Hope, PA
  5. Fort Mifflin - Philadelphia, PA
  6. Bobby Mackey's - Wilder, KY
  7. Red Mill - Clinton, NJ
I am hoping to fit a heck of a lot more in as we set them up. Residential investigations ALWAYS take priority though.

If you know of any places I should checkout or you are extending an invitation, send an email to screamparanormalresearch@gmail.com

Here comes another... Asteroid?!?!

Imagine it's a day in February 2013. An impending asteroid of doom is approaching earth. It will collide with earth and there is nothing that NASA nor our governments could do to avoid the impact. Everything we tried has failed. The destructive power will be that of a nuclear bomb when it hits us. 900 miles radius of damage. With a dust cloud that will block out our sun for months. Causing food shortages, freezing cold temperatures, and eventually... death.

You ever see the movie Armageddon with Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck? Sounds similar, right?

Well, some astronomy experts are saying this could happen for real...

Experts said WHAT?!? Making sure my WHAT are in order?!?! ...

NASA is speaking out on data that shows a 44-meter(approx. 160 feet - half a football field) asteroid, spotted by Spanish stargazers in February, will skim past the Earth in 11 months. Its current trajectory will be within miles of our planet, raising fears of a possible collision.

The asteroid, known as DA14, has a mass of about 120,000 metric tons and will pass by our planet in February 2013 at a distance of under 27,000 km (16,700 miles). This is closer than the orbit of some of earth's satellites.

Some are speculating that it could impact the earth, while others say that it may just come extremely close to our planet.

Didn't we just have YU55 pass the earth rather closely a few months ago? YU55 was about 201,000 miles from our planet. At that time, YU55 was reported to be the closest asteroid since 1976 according to astronomy records.

So, what will happen when DA14 comes close to our planet as it passes us? Will it cause issues with our magnetic poles here on earth? Possibly get drawn-in by earth's gravity? Guess we will learn more as it approaches our planet.

Is it too early to be singing, "It's the end of the world as we know it... and I feel fine!"?
