The Scientist

I found this new trailer of a fictional movie in limited release. Here is the synopsis:

THE SCIENTIST follows a brilliant physicist, Dr. Marcus Ryan (Bill Sage), who anguishes over the tragic death of his wife and daughter while secretly constructing a mysterious energy generator in his basement. The multi—dimensional energy unleashed by the machine triggers a series of events that propels Ryan toward a higher level of consciousness.

I find it interesting that with the use of full spectrum cameras and new technologies coming out every day, that we may not be to far off from actually being able to communicate directly with the deceased. If spirits use a form of energy to manifest and communicate, using a device to generate energy may be the answer to helping this process.

Eastern State Penitentiary Pt. 2

Looks like a small group of us are going back to ESP on June 25th, 2010. I just received confirmation from ESP via email of the date and time. There will only be a total of 5 investigators and 1 ESP tour guide(Oh yeah... and possibly multiple spirits as well) there during the course of the 4 hour time slot.

There is one small problem, I have had several people tell me that they wanted to investigate ESP again. So who do I choose to go? I guess I will have to throw names in a hat and pick. It is only fair.

UPDATE: Our team is assembled and we are ready for June 25th. Evidence to follow...

Jim Healy?

I am still going over the evidence from my recent ESP trip. So far, I feel as though I have about 5 good EVP's. This one EVP seems to be one of the best I have ever heard. I am researching the background on this information with ESP and the TAPS team to validate the clip more.

EVP:

ME: "I'm sorry. What was your name again?"

long pause(some lite chatter from girls down the hallway)...

???: "Jim... Healy..."

ME: "I swear to God I heard a whisper."

There was nobody around my wife or myself at the time of this recording. We were about 5-6 cell blocks away from others. As I was facing the cell door, the whisper came from my left side. It almost felt like the whisper was forced at me. It was startling at first. Hope you like it.

Eastern State Penitentiary

For the record? ESP was an amazing place this past Saturday night. Beyond Reality Events and the TAPS team brought about 120 of us out for one of the best investigations that I have seen to date. The weather was perfect. Not too windy or cold.

A few note worthy things:

1) A few people in death row heard a disembodied voice shout back at them while running an EVP session. The girls screamed so loud, it could be heard thoughtout ESP.

2) Ami Bruni(TAPS team) dropped a laser grid in cell block 12(?) and mist and shadows were seen by all in the room below.

3) I had a good session with the K-II that night in various places as well. Zero power was on. No interference. Ran my own K-II session in a cell and got some great responses.

4) IR temperature sensor showed major drops in a few cells. Made no sense what so ever. 5-6mph wind that clear night. Not enough to drop the temp down 10-20 degrees. After some time, the temps would increase again. Didn't feel any breeze, just temp change.

5) Something whipsered in my left ear. I have an EVP when I asked, "I'm sorry. What was your name again?" Response on tape was "Jim Healy"? Then I say immediately after hearing the whisper, "I swear to God I just heard a whisper." Freaked me out. I have to research if a Jim Healy was an inmate at ESP.

Needless to say, I will be going back to ESP as much as I can to get more. That place is very active.

First... Post... Ever...

Well, I have finally decided to take my love for the paranormal and share it with the internet community. Alot of this had to do with my weekend excursion to Eastern State Penitentiary with the TAPS team last night. I had some great experiences there that I felt I should share with others interested in the paranormal. Hence, this blog.

I will blog whenever I find something cool that is paranormal related. News, investigation findings, movies, tv, books, etc. If you ever have something you would like to share, let me know. I am always on the lookout for everything and anything paranormal.
